What a wonderful rescue! I am very happy! Carrie Malone is amazing! She runs the rescue and Reilly has a heart for the pigs . If you want to adopt a rescue this is the place to go. This is also the place to go if you have guinea pigs to turn in/etc. catrie is very thorough in her work and loves these guinea pigs so much! She also provides 24/7 care for all of her rescues - even after they are adopted. It is wonderful to know that if any problems or concerns arise I can contact Carrie and she will be quick to respond. I'm so glad they have this rescue and I 100% reccomend it :)!

When my 8 year old daughter first decided she wanted a guinea pig, I didn't know where to start. Old, young, male, female, one or two??? There is so much conflicting info out there. Then I found Peninsula GPR and left what can only be described as a confused and desperate message. Carrie called me back the same day and answered all of my questions thoroughly and honestly. She was so patient with this newby. We scheduled a visit for my daughter to meet some available piggies at the rescue and she fell in love with April, a 2 year old female. She is the sweetest little piggie and my daughter is so in love with her that I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner. Carrie is amazing and will help you day or night. The Peninsula Guinea Pig Rescue is a wonderful thing. Support the rescue, adopt a loving piggie that needs you! It has been a wonderful experience for us.

Pumpkin (previously called Ella) is the third guinea pig my family and I have gotten from Carrie and the PGPR. All three piggies have been such a joy to have! Pumpkin has really come out of her shell and become such a silly little one in the few months I have had her. If you're looking to adopt please go to the PGPR! And thank you Carrie for all that you do for these little ones! :-)

We adopted a sweet baby named Stella. She is the sweetest little Guinea pig and she is a wonderful addition to our family. A big thank you to Carrie for all of her knowledge and the time she took with me making sure I knew all that I needed to know to give the best care to our Stella. This is such a wonderful rescue and I can't say enough great things about our experience. ❤️

My daughter had wanted a guinea pig for sometime, I will admit I was not a fan of the idea. I made her take the class with Carrie at the SPCA. When she could tell me everything that was said and was determined she could take care of one, I called Carrie. I told her I wanted one that was calm and loved to be held. We got Lilliana. We fostered for a bit and fell in love. There was so much love to give her, we decided to add another one. We got Rosalena. My daughter reads to Lilliana and Rosalena is officially my study buddie for nursing school. Carrie did such an amazing job matching us up with two beautiful girls that fit our needs as well as theirs. She is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help anytime, any day. Please consider fostering and adopting from this rescue before you do anything else. You will not regret the decision.
