We adopted a sweet baby named Stella. She is the sweetest little Guinea pig and she is a wonderful addition to our family. A big thank you to Carrie for all of her knowledge and the time she took with me making sure I knew all that I needed to know to give the best care to our Stella. This is such a wonderful rescue and I can't say enough great things about our experience. ❤️

My daughter had wanted a guinea pig for sometime, I will admit I was not a fan of the idea. I made her take the class with Carrie at the SPCA. When she could tell me everything that was said and was determined she could take care of one, I called Carrie. I told her I wanted one that was calm and loved to be held. We got Lilliana. We fostered for a bit and fell in love. There was so much love to give her, we decided to add another one. We got Rosalena. My daughter reads to Lilliana and Rosalena is officially my study buddie for nursing school. Carrie did such an amazing job matching us up with two beautiful girls that fit our needs as well as theirs. She is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help anytime, any day. Please consider fostering and adopting from this rescue before you do anything else. You will not regret the decision.

After waiting several years to adopt a new guinea pig following the passing of one who was very dear to me, I knew I wanted to adopt a guinea pig who needed a second chance at a good home. Thank goodness for Carrie - she was incredibly helpful in helping me find a guinea pig that fit my personality and needs, as well as the needs of the guinea pig! It is so, so obvious that Carrie genuinely cares about these little creatures and I am so glad I was able to adopt Elsie from her. It's amazing how different guinea pigs are following adoption from a chain store vs. a caring foster home. Thank you so much, Carrie - I will treasure Elsie forever :)

Claire and I adopted Emma from PGPR a few months ago. We put a lot of thought into our decision to have a guinea pig as a pet. I wanted to adopt rather than purchase a pet so I googled rescues and found Carrie! I was very impressed to know that she allows a potential adopter to bring a pet home for a week with all the necessary supplies to see if your are a good fit for the piggie :). We were able to bring a lovely Abby Named Emma home with us. She was scared and shy at first, but after learning what veggie time means she now runs to greet us with a happy piggie heart. AKA her stomach!!!!! She now sits with us and cuddles, gives kisses, and weeks when she knows we are in the kitchen :). She is our first Piggie and we really are enjoying her. Thank You Carrie!
